A rainy carride
The headlights cuts throught the inky darkness enveloping your surroundings, blurring the lines of what is and isn’t road. The paved cement is wet and reflecting the muted moonlight, castig the illusion of billions of small stars scattered across the ground, blurrily disappearing from your sights as you drive on.
The occasional passerby on the dark, empty highway drives with purpose and blends into the scenery as it too disappears into the night behind you.
The rain smattering on the roof and windows calm you. You are at peace.
